47 balls qualify: 16 earned through secret objectives, 12 earned through daily streaks, 8 earned in the Challenge store inside the free TallyHo app, and 11 score balls carried all the way to their highest tier. Paid balls are excluded on purpose, so nobody can buy their way closer. The catalog is frozen: balls added later never extend the requirement.
The highest qualifying streak ball needs 100 consecutive days of play. Streak shields can buy back a lapse, and the recovery window grows with the streak: seven days for young runs, rising to three weeks for runs past 200 days. Past the window, the run resets to zero.
Each of the 11 score balls has four stages, reached at 5, 10, 15 and 25 rounds finishing at that exact score. All eleven must reach the final gold stage. This is the hardest requirement and the one that makes the Golden Ball a multi-year pursuit.
Following TallyHo on Instagram and TikTok is checked once, at the moment of claim. Anyone who completes everything without following gets 48 hours to fix it.

Anyone with a free TallyHo account, subject to the official rules. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent for both eligibility and payment. The contest is void where prohibited, and Quebec and Italy are excluded. The winner is responsible for their own taxes.
Progress is tracked on TallyHo's servers from the game's own play records, and the requirements are built so that knowing them is not a shortcut to completing them. Every completed claim is then reviewed by a person, with the account's full history, before any prize is paid, and a claim that does not stand up to that review is refused.
